Hey this is Reijah (Ray-ah). My family and I just got back from Mystic Caverns, in Harrison Arkansas. It was so cool. First off, when we got there, they were closed. But Joey, who worked there, brought us in the cavern for a private tour.
We found out that the caves used to be part of an amusement park called Silver Dollar City. They would lower people down into the cave through a hole in the roof. Today they use a tunnel. The cave was huge. Joey said that at one time, the outlaw Jesse James hid out in this cave (he also said that might not be true).
There was even some pretty cool fossils in the ceiling of the cave. You can see them in my road blog.
