Our first week in our house on wheels and we stopped for a few days at Stone Mountain, Ga. Caden thought it was a really, really big rock. It is. Supposedly as big as it is above ground, it’s even bigger under ground. As the largest exposed piece of solid granite in the world, this is a popular tourist site in Georgia.
My brothers and I enjoyed touring the museum and learning all about this place. By the way… did you know that the carving on the rock is so big that a grown person can stand inside the mouth of the horse?
After touring the rock, we went to the village which has a petting zoo and an old plantation mansion that gives you an idea how people lived back in the late 1800s.
